Removal Procedure
If equipped with a sound suppression arrangement, refer to Special Instruction, "Installation of the 351-3820 Sound Suppression Ar (If Equipped)" or Special Instruction, "Installation of the 350-2312 Sound Suppression Ar (If Equipped)" for specific panel locations and the correct removal or installation procedure.
Release the air system pressure. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "System Pressure Release".
Use the following steps to remove the air dryer for trucks LAJ616-UP

Open latches (1) and open hood assembly (2). Secure hood assembly (2) in the OPEN position.

Disconnect hose assembly (3), hose assemblies (4), and hose assembly (5).

Disconnect harness assembly (6) and remove cable straps (7).

Remove bolts (8) and bolts (9). Remove air dryer (10).
If necessary, repeat Step 3.a through Step 3.d for the remaining air dryer.Installation Procedure
Install air dryer (10) in the reverse order of removal.
