Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the fan. Note: The cooling system components and weights may vary depending on your arrangement.
At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure.Steam can cause personal injury.Check the coolant level only after the engine has been stopped and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure.Cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".

Remove bolts (1). Disconnect flex coupler assembly (2). Remove elbow (3) and the gasket.

Disconnect flex coupler assemblies (4).

Disconnect flex coupler assemblies (5) and flex coupler assemblies (7). Position tube assemblies (6) out of the way.

Attach a suitable lifting device onto radiator group (8). The weight of radiator group (8) is approximately 862 kg (1900 lb).
