1. Remove seal (2) from shaft assembly (1).2. Fasten a hoist to shaft assembly (1). Remove 11 bolts (4). Install two 1/2 in - 13 NC forcing screws in shaft assembly (1). Tighten the forcing screws evenly, and remove shaft assembly (1). The weight of the shaft assembly is 26 kg (57 lb).3. If necessary, remove ring (3) from shaft assembly (1). The following steps are for installation of the pivot shafts.4. If ring (3) was removed from the shaft assembly, heat the ring to a maximum temperature of 135°C (275°F). Install ring (3) on shaft assembly (1).5. Fasten a hoist to shaft assembly (1). Put the shaft assembly in position on the frame, and install bolts (4).6. Install seal (2) on shaft assembly (1).
