Use two people in order to position ring gear (4) . The weight of ring gear (4) is approximately 22 kg (48 lb). Use Tooling (C) in order to compress retaining ring (4) and install retaining ring (4) .

Insert Tooling (A) . Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to final drive assembly (2) . The weight of final drive assembly (2) is approximately 60 kg (130 lb). Slide final drive assembly (2) onto Tooling (A) .
Install bolts (1) . Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 185 20 N m (136 15 lb ft). Then, turn bolts (1) for an additional 60 20 degrees. Remove Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) . Install the two remaining bolts.End By: Install the axle shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle Shaft - Install".
