Removal Procedure

Remove clamp (2). Remove pipe (1). Note: Note the orientation of clamp (2) for assembly purposes.

Open access panel (5). Remove clamps (3) and remove tube (4).

Remove bolt (7) in order to separate plate (6) from hood (8).

Remove cable strap (10) and disconnect harness assembly (9).

Attach a suitable lifting device to hood assembly (8). The weight of hood assembly (8) is approximately 77 kg (170 lb). Remove bolts (11) and (12). Remove hood assembly (8) .Installation Procedure
Install hood assembly (8) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply grease between clamp (2) and pipe (1). Tighten clamp (2) to the following torque 47 N m (35 lb ft).
