Assemble rod ends (8) as short as possible.1. Move neutral lock lever (4) to the up (locked) position.2. Remove bolt (11).3. Move transmission lever (12) to the neutral (N detent) position.4. Adjust rod end (10) until bolt (11) can be installed in lever (12) and rod end (10).5. Remove bolt (13) from transmission lever (9) and rod end (14).6. Move lever (9) to the third speed (3 detent) position.7. Remove cap (5) from housing (7).8. Move speed control handle (1) in a counterclockwise direction until the top of rack (6) is even with the top of housing (7).9. Adjust rod end (14) until bolt (13) can be installed in lever (9) and rod end (14).10. Install cap (5).11. Loosen the setscrew and adjust collar (2) to indicate third speed. Tighten the setscrew.
