Air Shutoff
Programming the parameter to "DISABLED" will disable the air shutoff. This parameter should be programmed to "DISABLED" if the function is not being used or installed on this engine. The disabling will prevent air shutoff diagnostics from being logged.
Table 9
Minimum     Default     Maximum
Disabled     Enabled     Enabled    Fuel Ratio Control
The ECM determines the offset value for the Fuel Ratio Control (FRC). The FRC Offset value is used to adjust the fuel ratio control. The offset minimizes the exhaust smoke when the engine is accelerated. An offset value of 25 kPa ( 4 psi) may be used for adjusting customer preference, fuel quality, or other factors that affect engine performance. The default setting is 0.Note: This parameter may not be available on all applications. This parameter is used in place of the mechanical control for the fuel to air ratio. This parameter improves the engine response with improved emission levels.

-25     0     25    Ether Control
Programming this parameter to "DISABLED" will disable the Ether functions. This parameter should be programmed to "DISABLED" if the Ether function is not being used or installed on this engine. The disabling will prevent the diagnostic codes for the ether control from being logged.

Disabled     Disabled     Enabled    "CCM Interface"
The interface will allow you to control the engine from a remote site.

The engine can use the separate circuit aftercooler system (SCAC). The engine can use the jacket water aftercooler (JWAC).

This parameter provides the strategy for the cold mode cylinder cutout.
Table 14
Minimum     Default     Maximum
Disabled     Enabled     Enabled    Fuel Position Multiplier
This parameter decreases the power output from the engine by reducing the fuel. This parameter is used to control the driven equipment. A decrease in engine power does not require a change in the throttle.
Table 15
Minimum     Default     Maximum
Disabled     Enabled     Enabled    Engine Acceleration Rate
This parameter limits the rate of change for the desired engine speed. This parameter may also help reduce smoke when you start the engine.

1 rpm / sec.     250 rpm / sec.     2000 rpm / sec.    Programmable Operator Switch
The "Programmable Operator Switch" parameter is used to determine the input for the ECM terminal J1-61. The parameter can be programmed to "Overspeed Verify" or to "Programmable Torque Limit".Overspeed Verify
The "Overspeed Verify" setpoint is set to 75 percent of rated speed. The "Overspeed Verify" feature can be initiated in the Cat ET "Override" screen. When the engine rpm reaches the setpoint, the normal overspeed strategy is initiated. Fueling is disabled
Programming the parameter to "DISABLED" will disable the air shutoff. This parameter should be programmed to "DISABLED" if the function is not being used or installed on this engine. The disabling will prevent air shutoff diagnostics from being logged.
