Rear Motor
When performing leakage flow tests on the propel motors the case flushing line from the pump to the motor being tested must be disconnected. This is done so the flushing oil is not combined with the recommended leakage of the motor.
End Of Engine Area
(1) Pump. (6) Flush line to rear motor.7. Disconnect rear motor flush line (6) from pump (1). Cap and plug flush line (6) with 6V8552 cap and 6V8552 plug.
End Of Rear Drum Area
(7) Case drain line. (8) Motor. (9) PX2350 fabricated hose.8. Disconnect motor case drain line (7) from motor (8). Install fabricated hose (9) to motor (8). Install fabricated hose (9) so that the leakage oil flows from motor (8) through 4C8689 flowmeter and into motor case drain line (7).9. Start and run the machine at high idle.
To prevent overheating of the hydraulic oil and damage to the propulsion system components, do not run each test longer than 30 seconds.
10. Set the speed range switch to the HIGH SPEED position. Turn Automatic Speed Control (ASC) knob to the MAXIMUM speed (if equipped).11. Move propel control lever in
