Information:

Test Port Location
(1) Servo hose. (2) Right tow point cylinder.1. Assemble gauge listed above with proper fittings from kit.2. Remove servo hose (1) from cylinder (2). Install a tee between hose and cylinder. Connect hose to cylinder.3. Attach gauge to tee in hose (1).
Shutoff Valve And Manual Override Location
(3) Shutoff valve. (4) Servovalve manual override lever.4. Close shutoff valve (3) on the rod end of the right side tow point cylinder.5. Start and run the engine.6. Activate parking brake. Place engine speed on FAST.7. Using servovalve manual override lever (4) of the right side tow point solenoid, activate the right side tow point cylinder. Observe pressure gauge reading. Reading should be 13 800 kPa (2000 psi).8. If the gauge reading is not correct, adjustment of the auxiliary pump pressure compensator is necessary.9. Place engine speed on SLOW. Shut off engine.
Pressure Compensator Location
(5) Pressure compensator.10. Insert the proper size internal hex wrench in pressure compensator (5). Loosen the locknut. The locknut and adjustment screw are located on the engine side of the pump.11. Start and run engine. Place engine speed on FAST.12. Using servovalve manual override lever (4) of the right side tow point solenoid, activate the right side tow point cylinder. Observe pressure gauge reading.13. Turn the adjusting screw with the internal hex wrench clockwise to increase the pressure setting or counterclockwise to decrease the setting.14. Once the proper pressure has been obtained, tighten the locknut while holding the adjustment screw. Tighten the locknut to 110 to 140 N m (16 to 20 lb ft).15. Using the servovalve manual override lever of the right side tow point solenoid, activate the right side tow point cylinder to recheck pressure setting.16. Place engine speed on SLOW. Shut off engine. Open shut off valve (3) on rod end of tow point cylinder.17. Remove pressure gauge from tee in hose (1). Remove the servo hose from cylinder (2). Remove tee. Connect hose to cylinder.Pressure Reducing Valve Test
Make reference to on first page of Testing And Adjusting.
1. Assemble gauges listed above with proper fittings from kit.
Gauge Hookup Location.
(1) Truck hitch. (2) Hydraulic lines.2. Remove truck hitch (1) cylinders hydraulic lines (2) from the fittings on the left side of the front bumper. Install the pressure gauge assemblies to the fittings.3. Start and run engine.4. Activate parking brake. Place engine speed on FAST.5. Move the HITCH switch to the OPEN position. Observe pressure gauge reading on the gauge attached to the outside fitting. Reading should be 13 800 kPa (2000 psi). If pressure is not near 13 800 kPa (2000 psi), the auxiliary pump pressure compensator control needs to be tested. See the subject Adjusting The Pressure Compensator.6. Move the HITCH switch to the CLOSE position. Observe pressure gauge reading on the gauge attached to the inside fitting. Reading should be 6550 345 kPa (950 50 psi).7. If gauge reading is not within the specified range the pressure reducing valve needs to be adjusted.
Pressure Reducing Valve Adjustment Location
(3) Pressure reducing valve. (4)
