15. Keep finger guard at maximum higher before to apply the torque to have a big gap with deflector. Refer to Image1.12.1.

16. Attach viscous clutch wire on the ladder clips with 3S-2093 Cable Straps. Refer to Image1.13.1.

17. Connect the viscous clutch sensor in the connector in wait in the radiator guard. Make a loop for extra wire length. Refer to Image1.14.1.

18. Attach the harness radiator guard on the ladder clips and on the finger guard. Refer to Image1.15.1.

19. Reassemble the radiator.
20. Reassemble hoses on the clips. Refer to Image1.16.1.

21. Reassemble the engine compartment sheet metal.
22. Open Cat ET and connect the com adaptor on the machine. Enable the viscous clutch feature.

1. Follow the same Rework Procedure above in order to replace the direct fan drive by the demand fan (viscous clutch). Before assembling the new viscous clutch, assemble the sand blast grid.
2. To assemble the sandblast grid, the shroud assembly should be disassembled. This is not necessary to remove the radiator guard. For the removal, disassemble the bottom guard under the radiator guard. Refer to Image2.1.1.

3. Remove the four bolts on each side in order to to disassemble left and right brackets. Refer to Image2.2.1.

4. Remove the filter support from the top shroud. Refer to Image2.3.1.

5. Remove the top and bottom shroud. Refer to Image2.4.1.

6. Remove both shroud supports on right side of the machine. Refer to Image2.5.1.

7. Install the sandblast grid. Be careful to the sandblast grid orientation. Refer to Image2.6.1.

8. Reassemble both right shroud brackets.
9. Bolt the grid on shroud brackets on both sides of the machine with four 8T-4195 Bolts and four 8T-4121 Washers. Refer to Image2.7.1.

10. Reassemble the shroud, the demand fan, and the other components of the machine.
11. Follow the same Rework Procedure above in order to replace the direct fan drive by the demand fan (viscous clutch).
