Refer to the article that follows.The specification for the reusability of intake and exhaust valves has changed. The change has been made to the minimum thickness of the valve lip. The 100-7860 Inlet Valve has a minimum valve lip thickness 2.02 mm (0.080 inch). The 100-7861 Exhaust Valve and the 148-7455 Exhaust Valve have a minimum valve lip thickness 2.11 mm (0.083 inch). Refer to Guideline For Reusable Parts And Salvage Operations, SEBF8034 for the proper procedure of measuring the valve lip thickness.
