Connect the steering frame lock.Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Raise the engine hood.

Remove panel (1) .

Disconnect harness assembly (6) .
Disconnect hose assemblies (4) and (5) .
Remove bowl assembly (8) .
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel System Primary Filter (Water Separator) - Drain" for the correct removal and installation procedure for primary fuel filter (7). Use Tooling (A) to remove primary fuel filter (7) .
Remove bolts (2) and fuel priming pump (3) .Installation Procedure

A     185-3630     Strap Wrench As     1    Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Position fuel priming pump (3) and install bolts (2) .
Use Tooling (A) to install primary fuel filter (7) .
Install bowl assembly (8) .
Connect hose assemblies (4) and (5) .
Connect harness assembly (6) .

Install panel (1) .
Close the engine hood.End By: Separate the steering frame lock.
