Installation Procedure
Be sure that the mating surface of the undercarriage frame and the swivel are thoroughly clean.

Fasten a lifting sling and a hoist to swivel (21), as shown. Put the swivel in position in the undercarriage frame. Be sure that the swivel engages with the locating dowel in the undercarriage frame.

Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound on the threads of three bolts (20). Install three bolts (20) and the washers that hold the swivel to the undercarriage frame.

Check the condition of the O-ring seals that are used on seven fittings (19). If any of the seals are damaged, use new parts for replacement. Install the O-ring seals and seven fittings (19) in the bottom side of the swivel.

Connect hose (9) to the bottom side of the swivel in the original location. Tighten the hose connection to a torque of 40 5 N m (30 4 lb ft).
Connect hose (11) to the bottom side of the swivel in the original location. Tighten the hose connection to a torque of 110 10 N m (80 7 lb ft).
Connect hose (10) to the bottom side of the swivel in the original location. Tighten the hose connection to a torque of 30 5 N m (22 4 lb ft).
Check the condition of the O-ring seals that are used in hoses (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7) and (8). If any of the seals are damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Connect hoses (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7) and (8) to the top side of the swivel in the original locations. Tighten hose connection (8) to a torque of 30 5 N m (22 4 lb ft). Tighten hose connections (4), (5), (6) and (7) to a torque of 110 10 N m (80 7 lb ft). Tighten hose connections (2) and (3) to a torque of 80 7 N m (60 5 lb ft).End By: Install the swing motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Swing Motor - Install"in this manual.
