Hydraulic oil passes through return filters (14) before entering hydraulic tank (1). The force of oil pressure in return chamber (18) overcomes spring (15) and the force of the oil pressure opens relief valve (16) when return filters (14) become blocked. Return oil flows through passage (13) to the tank when relief valve (16) is open. Relief valve (16) opens at 138 kPa (20 psi). The hydraulic pumps draw oil from hydraulic tank (1) through shut off valves (10). The oil passes through suction line (9), suction line (11), and suction line (12) to the hydraulic pumps.Case drain oil returns to hydraulic tank (1) through case drain return line (7) and case drain return line (8). Case drain oil passes through two in-line filters. The filters are located under one cover. The filters are protected by a separate bypass valve. The relief valve and the filter for the case drain oil function in an identical manner to the relief valve and the filter for the implement oil.Breaker relief valve (17) is located on the left side of hydraulic tank (1). Breaker relief valve (17) prevents an excessive increase or an excessive decrease of the pressure in hydraulic tank (1). The pressure changes occur due to changes in oil level and changes in temperature during operation.
