Bucket Hydraulic System
A bucket cylinder is used to OPEN and CLOSE the bucket. When the bucket cylinder rod EXTENDS, the bucket will CLOSE. When the bucket cylinder rod RETRACTS, the bucket will OPEN.When the operator uses the joystick to move the bucket, an input signal is sent to the Machine Electronic Control Module (ECM). The ECM determines the direction and speed of the bucket cylinder in proportion to the movement of the joystick. The ECM sends an output signal to the bucket solenoids. Pilot pressure in the main control valve is now allowed to flow through the bucket cylinder solenoids. Pilot oil pressure is used by the solenoids to control the movement of the bucket control valve in the main control valve. The bucket control valve spool, in turn, controls the flow of the high-pressure oil to the bucket cylinder.Components of the bucket system include:
