Typical exampleRemote Pressure TapShown with 198-4240 Digital Pressure Indicator
Install the 8T-0852 Pressure Gauge from the 1U-5481 Pressure Gauge Group or 198-4240 Digital Pressure Indicator to the pressure tap. The pressure tap is located on the right side of the machine on the non-engine end frame near the articulated hitch.
Ensure that the temperature of the hydraulic oil is at the normal operating temperature of approximately 54 to 70°C (129 to 158°F).
Enter the Implement Hydraulic Service Mode.ReferenceFor additional information about this mode, refer to the Service Manual module Troubleshooting, Testing and Adjusting, "Implement Hydraulic Service Mode".
Run the engine at low idle with the transmission in NEUTRAL.
Place the auxiliary control lever in the full FORWARD position.
Observe the test gauge. Record the opening pressure for the line relief valve. If the pressure reading does not agree with the value in Table 2, proceed to "Adjusting the Line Relief Valve".If the pressure reading agrees with the value in Table 2, proceed to testing the line relief valve for the auxiliary rearward.
Place the auxiliary control lever in the full REARWARD position.
Observe the test gauge. Record the opening pressure for the line relief valve. If the pressure reading does not agree with the value in Table 2, proceed to "Adjusting the Line Relief Valve".If the pressure reading agrees with the value in Table 2, proceed to "Remove Test Equipment".Adjusting the Line Relief Valve
