Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the steering control. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Control - Remove".

Remove bolts (2) and position sensor (1).

Remove O-ring seal (3) from position sensor (1).

Remove bolts (4), tubes (5), and plate (6).

Spread open spring (8) and remove torque arm (7).

Remove woodruff key (9) and spring (10).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove snap ring (11) and spacer (12).

Remove snap ring (16), roll pin (18), and shaft (17) from mounting block assembly (15).
