Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the swing motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Swing Motor - Remove".
Failure to properly assemble parts or failure to follow established procedures can lead to damage of the parts and assembly.To avoid damage to parts, always identify and mark the parts so that they can be installed in the same location. Ensure that gear surfaces align. Never force parts during assembly.

The swing motor is removed in order to show the swivel more clearly.
Put identification marks on the eight hoses that are connected to the top side of the swivel.
Disconnect eight hoses (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7) and (8) from the swivel. Put plugs in the ends of the hoses in order to keep dirt out of the hydraulic system.
Put identification marks on all tubes and hoses that are connected to the bottom side of the swivel.

Disconnect the other ends of tubes (9) from the swivel. Disconnect hoses (9), (10) and (11) from the bottom side of the swivel.

Remove seven fittings (19) from the swivel.

Remove three bolts (20) .

Fasten a lifting sling and a hoist to swivel (21). Carefully remove the swivel from the machine. The weight of the swivel is 25 kg (55 lb).
