Right console with monitor (4) and low idle indicator (5) When the low idle switch on the top of the left control lever is pressed, the automatic engine speed control is turned on. When there is no demand for hydraulics, the engine speed will go to low idle. The low idle indicator (5) will be illuminated. When you press the low idle switch again, the engine speed returns to the level that was requested by the engine speed dial.

Electronic control moduleWhen you start the engine, current flows from the battery (11) to the "B" terminal of the starter switch. Then, current flows from the switch to the "ACC" terminal and the fuse (7) to the controller (8). When the engine speed dial (1) is moved, the accelerator cable (10) is moved by the governor actuator (9). The top of the accelerator cable (10) is connected to the governor lever (2) .When the switch for automatic engine control is pressed on the control lever, the accelerator cable is extended fully in order to bring the engine to low idle. The low idle indicator (5) on the monitor (4) is illuminated. When the switch is pressed again, the accelerator cable is moved in order to bring the engine speed to the setting of the engine speed dial.Note: If the engine speed dial is rotated continuously, the current will stop flowing after 8 seconds. After the movement of the dial has stopped, the flow of current is allowed to resume.
