Install seals (3) and thrust rings (4) into the link counterbore. Apply Tooling (D) onto thrust rings (4) in order to hold thrust rings (4) in the counterbore. Apply Tooling (D) to the lip of seals (3) .

Use a suitable lifting device in order to raise the front of the track assembly. Install Tooling (B) in position under the track shoe. Raise the track until the pin bores in the track links are in alignment.

Position master link pin (5) so that the Crossholes (X) are oriented parallel to Position (Z) and Position (Y). Apply Tooling (D) to master link pin (5) and to the master link bores in the track.

Use Tooling (C) in order to install master link pin (5). Refer to Specifications, "Track" for the positioning of master link pin (5) .

Remove stopper assembly (6) .

Install Tooling (E) into master link pin (5). Install Tooling (F) through Tooling (E) .Note: Tooling (F) will exit drain hole when the cavity is full.
Remove Tooling (E) .

Use Tooling (G) in order to install stopper assembly (6). Refer to Specifications, "Track" for the positioning of stopper assembly (6) .

Use Tooling (A) in order to position track shoe (2). Install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 500 70 N m (369 52 lb ft). Tighten bolts (1) to an additional 120 degrees.

Personal injury or death can result from grease and oil coming out of the relief valve.Grease and oil are under high pressure coming out of the relief valve and can penetrate the body.Do not watch the relief valve to see if grease is escaping. Watch the track or track adjustment cylinder to see if the track is being loosened. Make sure the vent holes are clean before the tension is released on the track.
Remove Tooling (B) from both ends of the track assembly.
Adjust the track tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track Adjustment - Adjust".
