1. Disconnect and cap four hose assemblies (2) from fan control solenoid valve (1).2. Disconnect electrical connector (3). Remove mounting bolts and fan control solenoid valve (1). The following steps are for the installation of the fan control solenoid valve.3. Put valve (1) in its original position and install mounting bolts.4. Connect four hose assemblies (2). Connect electrical connector (3).Disassemble & Assemble Fan Control Solenoid Valve
Start By:a. remove fan control solenoid valve1. Be sure the fan control solenoid valve is thoroughly clean prior to disassembly. 2. Remove solenoid assembly (2) from body (1). 3. Remove the O-ring seals and back-up rings from the solenoid assembly (1). Assemble the fan control solenoid valve in the reverse order of disassembly. Prior to assembling the solenoid valve, be sure all parts of the valve are clean and free of dirt and debris. Check the condition of the O-ring seals and back-up rings. If the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Install the solenoid assembly to the body and tighten the solenoid valve to a torque of 20 5 N m (15 4 lb ft).End By:a. install fan control solenoid valve
