Information:

Procedure To Modify Transmission Oil Tank
1. The additional parts required to add the second sight gauge are shown in the chart. 2. Drain the transmission tank and remove the 4T2564 Cover.3. Remove the original sight gauge.4. The original sight gauge opening, a [12.7 mm (.5")] slot, must be extended downward to the dimension [20.5 mm (.81")] shown in Illustration 1.5. Openings for the second gauge should be made in the cover as shown in Illustrations 1 and 2.

Illustration 2. Detail of second sight gauge opening.6. Remove all burrs from the holes and the slot.7. Install the parts listed in the chart and the 4T2564 Cover as shown in Illustration 3.
Illustration 3. Installation of second sight gauge.8. Thoroughly clean the face of the cover. Install the 9T3080 Plate (Decal) over the sight gauges. See Illustration 4.
