Pump Destroke Pressure
Destroking pressure is the control pressure from the pump control to the pump destroke servo.Note: Each implement piston pump must be isolated and checked separately. Disconnect the power shift signal pressure from the pumps which are not being checked.

Implement Piston Pump (10) "M1" port
Remove the plug and install a 6V-3965 Nipple Assembly and 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal into the "M1" port (10) for each pump. Install a 6V-7830 Tetragauge and test hose onto the test nipple in the "M1" port of the pump which is being tested.
Install a 40000 kPa (5800 psi) pressure gauge and test hose onto pressure tap (7) in order to measure the discharge pressure of implement piston pump. Pressure tap (7) may be located on either the margin relief valve (8) or the implement high pressure screens.

Implement Piston Pump (11) Connection for Power Shift Signal Pressure
Install a 4000 kPa (580 psi) pressure gauge and test hose into the power shift system (11) in order to measure the power shift signal pressure.
Isolate one implement piston pump by disconnecting the power shift signal pressure from all the implement piston pumps which are not being checked. Refer to "Pump Isolation".
Illustration 10 g00404121
Front Control Valve (12) Bucket curl line relief valve
Reduce the pressure setting of the bucket curl line relief valve (12) by turning the adjuster counterclockwise by 5 turns.Note: Do not turn the adjuster more than 5 turns. Removal of adjuster out of the valve may result in loss of oil.Note: Each implement piston pump must be isolated and checked separately. Full pump flow through the line relief valve may damage the valve.
Start the engine.
Warm the oil to a minimum temperature of 50 °C (122 °F). Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "General Information" for the proper procedure for warming the hydraulic oil.
Set the throttle switch to position 1.

Set the power shift pressure to a constant 1380 kPa (200 psi) by using the Electronic Technician Software and the M300 Technician software. Connect the Electronic Service Tool with a 7X-1700 Communication Adapter to the ET diagnostic connector with a 7X-1425 cable and a 7X-1570 cable . Either the ET diagnostic connector in the cab or the pump room may be used. Use the override parameters in order to set the power shift pressure.
Slowly actuate the bucket open curl function. Hold the bucket open curl function in a stalled condition. Read the pressure for the power shift signal pressure, for the "M1" port pressure, and for the pump discharge pressure. The gauges should register the following pressures:
The power shift signal pressure should be 1380 kPa (200 psi).
The pump discharge pressure should be below 13500 kPa (1975 psi).
The "M1" port pressure should be 0 kPa (0 psi).
