A3 198-4236 Adapter Cable As 1 Test Preparation
Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location.
Lower all of the implements.
Shut off the engine.
Turn the key to the ON position. Make sure that the implement lockout switch is turned to the UNLOCKED position. Move the implement control levers to all positions several times in order to release any pressure in the hydraulic system. Note: The pressure port (H) is located on the left side of the machine behind an access door next to the battery compartment.

(H) Pressure port
Attach tooling (A) to pressure port (H). Test Procedure
Operate the engine at HIGH IDLE. Leave the controls in the NEUTRAL position. Record the pressures at pressure port (H) in Table 1.
The correct pressure setting for the charge pressure should be 2500 100 kPa (363 15 psi).
If the charge pressure is higher than the specification, then the charge pressure relief valve could be faulty or out of adjustment. Adjustment Procedure
Stop the engine.

(1) Locknut
(2) Adjustment screw
(3) Cap
Remove cap (3). Loosen locknut (1) while securing screw (2). Turn adjustment screw (2) clockwise in order to increase the pressure setting. Turn adjustment screw (2) counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure setting. A full turn of screw (2) will change the pressure by 380 kPa (55 psi). Note: To decrease the setting, turn adjustment screw (2) counterclockwise past the desired pressure setting. Then, turn adjustment screw (2) clockwise to the correct pressure setting. This method of adjusting the pressure setting eliminates any movement in the threads.
Tighten locknut (1) to a torque of 44 N m (32 lb ft), while securing adjustment screw (2). Recheck the pressure setting.
