Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
Move transmission control (1) to the NEUTRAL position.
Unlock the steering column. Move the steering column to the desired position and lock the steering column.
Engage parking brake (2) .
Move the joystick to the HOLD position.
Partially depress the governor control pedal. Continue to hold the governor control pedal as you crank the engine.
Turn engine start switch key (3) in order to start the engine. Release the engine start switch key when the engine starts. Release the governor control pedal after the engine starts.
