Press the down key to view the "PASSWORD REQUIRED TO RESET THE SERVICE MAINTENANCE INTERVAL". The security level that is required is level 3 but, the required security level can be changed with Cat ET.Perform the following procedure to reset the timer on the display:

At the main menu, press the down key and highlight "CONFIGURE". Press the "OK" key. A dialog like Illustration 21 appears.

Double click on "Maintenance Level 1 Cycle Interval Hours" located to the right. A dialog similar to Illustration 27 will appear.

Enter a new value. Click "OK" to accept the value or click "Cancel" to exit without saving the changes.
Double click on "Maintenance Level 1 Cycle Interval Days". A dialog similar to Illustration 28 will appear.

Double click on "Customer Password Security Level to Reset Service Maintenance Interval" to enter a new security level. A screen like Illustration 29 appears.

Select the level of security that you desire. Click "OK" to accept the value or click "Cancel" to exit without saving the changes. Note: Change the password to level 3 after the reset to prevent accidentally resetting the timer.
