A 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound 1 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, thoroughly clean all parts in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Do not use wiping cloths or rags to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision component. Perform assembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.Note: Check O-ring seals, backup rings and seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

Install seal (27) and retainer (28) in valve body (1).

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Assemble spool assembly (19):
Install seal (20) and retainer (21) on spool (26).
Install spacer (22) on the spool.
Apply Tooling (A) on the threads of spring retainer (16). Install collar (23), spring (24), washer (25), and spring retainer (16) on spool (26). Tighten spring retainer (16) to a torque of 10 to 14 N m (7 to 10 lb ft).
Install spool assembly (19) in valve body (1).

Install spacer (14) on the spool assembly.
Apply Tooling (A) on the threads of bolts (12). Position four balls (17), two springs (18), collar (15), and end cap (13) on spring retainer (16). Install bolts (12). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 14 1 N m (10 1 lb ft).

Apply Tooling (A) on the threads of bolts (10). Position retainer plate (11) on the valve body and install bolts (10). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 14 1 N m (10 1 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (6) on plug (7). Install poppet (8), spring (9), and plug (7) in valve body (1).

Install O-ring seal (5), backup ring (4), and O-ring seal (3) in relief valve (2).

Install relief valve (2) in blade control valve body (1). End By:
Install the leveling blade control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve (Leveling Blade) - Remove".
Adjust the relief valve setting. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Leveling Blade System Pressure Check".
