PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Position the angle broom in the storage position with the stands supporting the broom bristles and the machine interface centered and lowered to the ground. Block up the back of the front frame group to ensure the bristles and core assembly are securely supported prior to disassembly.

Remove the 4 bolts securing the ball joint to the frame assembly.

Remove the cotter pin and nut from the lower part of the top ball joint.

Replace the old ball joint with a 307-2665 Ball Joint and install a 45 degree grease fitting to the new ball joint. The grease fitting should point up.
Install new 8T-4184 Bolts, 8T-4223 Washers, and 6V-7687 Nuts. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 105 +/- 20 Nm.
Tighten the castle nut to a torque of 170 +/- 25 Nm. Tighten the castle nut no more then one castellation and install the cotter pin to keep the nut from coming loose.
Repeat procedure with the lower ball joint ensuring the hardware is installed as per the image above.
Grease each ball joint. One to two pumps is sufficient.
