2. Disconnect harness-1 and harness-2 from each joystick of remote control valves.

Disconnect DT connector (6P) of harness-1 of each joystick to the console harness.
Disconnect the bullet terminals of harness-2 of the right joystick to the console harness wires (NO.320: red) and (NO.200: black).
Disconnect the bullet terminals of harness-2 of the left joystick to the console harness wires (NO.972: blue) and (NO.235: black).

3. Remove pin (1132532) and remove the old joystick grip.

4.Install each new joystick grip and install pin (1132532) to hold the grip in position.
Installation procedure is basically the reverse of the removal procedure, described above.
5.After replacing with new joystick, perform calibration of the joystick thumbwheel by using any of the two methods, calibration with the monitor or calibration with Caterpillar Electronic Technician.
