Planetary Lubrication (3) No. 1 clutch (5) No. 2 clutch (8) No. 3 clutch (12) No. 4 clutch (14) No. 5 clutch (16) No. 6 clutch (30) Oil supply passage (31) Oil supply passageAll the planetary gears and all the bearings are lubricated by pressurized oil. After the oil has been cooled by the oil cooler, the oil will enter through oil passages (30) and (31). The oil will then enter an orifice in the transmission end plate.The oil for the lubrication of No. 1 clutch (3) comes through an orifice in the transmission end plate.Oil supply passage (31) is for the lubrication of the following clutches.

No. 5 clutch (14) The oil for No. 6 clutch (16) is supplied through oil supply passage (30) .The oil from clutch leakage and the return oil flows to the bottom of the transmission case. This oil then flows to the main oil reservoir in the output transfer gear case.Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Transmission Lubrication Oil Pressure - Test" for the lubrication pressure of the transmission.
