Information:
Start By:a. remove hood1. Open the engine panels on both sides of the machine.
At operating temperature, engine coolant is hot and under pressure. Steam can cause personal injury. Check the coolant level only after the engine has been stopped and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure. Cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.
2. Release the pressure in the cooling system by slowly loosening the filler cap on the radiator. Drain the coolant from the radiator. 3. Remove the four bolts from upper and lower fan guard assemblies (3).4. Remove the washers, bolts (1) and upper and lower fan guard assemblies (3).5. Remove the bolts and four panels (2). 6. Use tooling (A) to attach a hoist upper radiator tank (4) as shown.7. Remove bolts (5) from tank (4).8. Remove the eight bolts from the top of air conditioner condensers (6).9. Remove tank (4). The weight tank is (4) is 32 kg (70 lb). 10. Check the condition of seals (7). Replace seals (7) with new ones if necessary. 11. Remove two bolts (10), and position hydraulic oil cooler (9) clear of radiator cores (8) and air conditioner condenser cores (6). 12. Remove bolts (11) from radiator cores (8) and condenser cores (6). 13. Lift radiator core (8) from the bottom tank. Check the condition of the seal located between the base of the radiator core and the bottom tank. Replace the seal with a new one if needed.14. Repeat step 14 to remove the remaining radiator cores.15. Disconnect tube (12) from air conditioner condenser core (6).16. Remove the four bolts from the base of air conditioner condenser core (6). Remove condenser core (6).17. Repeat steps 16 and 17 to remove the remaining air conditioner condenser core. Apply a thin coat of 5P3975 Rubber Lubricant to the bottom mounting tube of each radiator core (8) when installing the cores into the lower tank, and to the top mounting tube of each radiator core (8) before installing upper tank (4).18. Install the radiator and air conditioner cores in the reverse order of removal.End By:a. install hood
