1 16 0L-1143 Bolt Use the following procedure to tighten the sequence for hand torque wrench or single spindle torque tool:
1. Tighten the end bolts followed by the left and right side bolts.
2. Start with a bolt towards the center of the right and left side of the pan and work towards the ends.
3. Again tighten the three center bolts of the left and right side.
4. Again tighten all the end bolts.
2 - - Before assembly, apply Loctite Quickstix 534 HI-Tack gasket sealant between gasket and oil pan to hold the gasket in place. Do not apply sealant at puzzle joints or T-joints.
3 - - As required, apply Loctite RTV Silicone Clear to the joints of the gasket.
4 41 0T-0065 Bolt Use the following procedure to tighten the sequence for hand torque wrench or single spindle torque tool:
1. Tighten the end bolts followed by the left and right side bolts.
2. Start with a bolt towards the center of the right and left side of the pan and work towards the ends.
3. Again tighten the three center bolts of the left and right side.
4. Again tighten all the end bolts.
5 3 3P-0654 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, apply 1P-0808 Multipurpose Grease to lubricate the bores.
6 2 0S-1590 Bolt To prevent stress on the tube assembly, use the following tightening procedure during assembly:
1. Tighten two bolts (8) to 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).
2. Then tighten two bolts (6) to 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).
7 2 7X-1547 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, apply 1P-0808 Multipurpose Grease to lubricate the bores.
8 4 0S-1588 Bolt To prevent stress on the tube assembly, use the following tightening procedure during assembly:
1. Tighten two bolts (8) to 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).
2. Then tighten two bolts (6) to 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).
9 2 4B-2363 Oil Drain Plug Torque to 145 15 N m (107 11 lb ft).
