The front pump drive is connected to the rear pump drive through auxiliary drive shafts that are joined to shaft (5) by a universal joint. Power is transferred from shaft (5) to gear (2) through splines. Power is then transferred to gear (1) and to gear (3). Gear (1) is splined to shaft (4) which drives the three main implement pumps. Gear (3) is splined to shaft (6) which drives the gear pump that lubricates the front pump drive, the pilot pumps for the implements, and the implement cooling pumps.Shims (7), (8), and (9) are used to adjust the end play of gears (1), (2), and (3).
