Disconnect tube assembly (26) from the transmission.

Disconnect bracket (27).

Upper rear left side of the transmission.
Disconnect tube assembly (29). Disconnect harness assembly (30) from the end of tube assembly (29).

Disconnect hose assembly (31). Disconnect hose assembly (34). Remove three bolts (33). Reposition valve (32) in order to disconnect harness assemblies (35). Remove valve (32).

Remove bracket assembly (36).

Disconnect bracket (37) from the transmission. Disconnect clips (38) and reposition hose assemblies (40) off to the left side of the machine. Remove heat shield (39).

Position Tooling (A) on suitable cribbing on the machine platforms. Attach Tooling (A) to engine lift bracket (41). Apply suitable tension to Tooling (A) to support the engine when the transmission is removed.

Attach Tooling (B) to the front and rear of transmission (42). Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (B) on the rear of the transmission. Attach Tooling (C) to Tooling (B) on the front of transmission (42). The weight of transmission (42) is approximately 771 kg (1700 lb).
Apply suitable tension to Tooling (C) and the suitable lifting device to support the weight of transmission (42).

Remove bolts (43).

Remove bolt (44). Use a second person to support transmission mount (46). Remove bolts (45) and transmission mount (46). Repeat for the opposite transmission mount.

Separate transmission (42) from the flywheel housing. Use Tooling (C) to lower the front end of the transmission to a suitable angle. Note: Changing the angle of transmission (42) will shorten the profile of the transmission and will aid in the removal process.
Slowly raise transmission (42) out of the machine. Installation Procedure
Install transmission (42) in the reverse order of removal.
Install bolts (43) to the following torque 70 15 N m (52 11 lb ft).
Install bolts (44) to the following torque 520 70 N m (384 52 lb ft).
