Information:
Remove Parking Brake
start by:a) connection of anti-pivot link1. Drain the oil from the transmission and transfer gears (input and output) at the transfer gear (output) case. Move foot brake (with engine stopped) several times to release all pressure in the brake system. 2. Disconnect four hoses (1) and one tube (2) from the main relief valve. Put caps or covers on all hoses or tubes that are disconnected or removed. Put identification on all hoses or tubes for installation purposes. 3. Disconnect four hydraulic hoses (3) and tube assembly (4). Remove two brackets from the parking brake. 4. Remove line (5) from the parking brake. Remove all the bolts that hold the parking brake to the output gears except bolts (6) and (7). 5. Install three of the 5P9736 Bracket-Links in tooling (A) on the parking brake. Fasten straps and a hoist to two of the 5P9736 Bracket-Links as shown. 6. Install the other 5P9736 Bracket-Link in tooling (A) on the machine frame opposite access hole for the parking brake. Fasten one of the 8S9906 Ratchet Assemblies in tooling (B) to the 5P9736 Bracket-Link in machine frame and to the 5P9736 Bracket-Link in the parking brake. Use tooling (B) to pull parking brake through parking brake access hole. Fasten the other 8S9906 Ratchet Assembly to the parking brake and to the straps and hoist. Operate tooling (B) to lower parking brake (8). Weight of the parking brake is 275 lb. (124 kg).Install Parking Brake
1. Fasten tooling (A) and (B) to the parking brake as shown, then put the parking brake (1) in position on the transfer gears (output). 2. Remove tooling (A) and (B) from the parking brake. 3. Install the bolts (3) that hold the parking brake to the transfer gears (output). Install line (2) on the parking brake. 4. Install the two hose brackets (5) on the parking brake. Remove the caps or covers from hydraulic hoses (4). Connect the hoses to the bracket. 5. Connect tube (6) to the hydraulic hose bracket. 6. Connect four hydraulic hoses (7) to the main relief valve and to the other bracket on the parking brake. Connect tube (8).7. Fill the hydraulic system with hydraulic oil to the correct level. start by:a) remove parking brake 1. Remove bolts (1) and plate (2) from the parking brake housing. 2. Remove spacers (3) from the parking brake housing. 3. Install a 3/8"-16 NC forged eyebolt in piston (5). Pull the piston out of the bore in the housing assembly. Remove the spring (4) and O-ring seal (6) from the bore. Remove the other two pistons, springs and O-ring seals from the housing assembly.
Bolts (7) are under spring tension. See Step 4 for procedure.
4. Install two of the original parking brake bolts (8) on each side of housing with

Fasten one of the 8S9906 Ratchet Assemblies in tooling (B) to the 5P9736 Bracket-Link in machine frame and to the 5P9736 Bracket-Link in the parking brake. Use tooling (B) to pull parking brake through parking brake access hole. Fasten the other 8S9906 Ratchet Assembly to the parking brake and to the straps and hoist. Operate tooling (B) to lower parking brake (8). Weight of the parking brake is 275 lb. (124 kg).Install Parking Brake
