Place grommet (35) onto hose (16). Using one bolt (42), two washers (45), and one nut (46), secure clip (33) and clip (34) to the plate. Tighten both couplings on hose (16) .

Connect the 6V-8557 Face Seal Nut of tube (23), with O-ring (32), to union (29) on bracket (20), on the left-hand side of the boom.

Remove bolt (L) and washer (M) from the right-hand side of the hose mounting bracket. Using one clip (38), one clip (39), bolt (L), and washer (M), secure tube (23) to the hose mounting bracket.

Connect the 6V-9969 Permanent Coupling As of hose (8) to port "A" of the auxiliary section of the backhoe valve.

Attach hose (8) to tube (23). Remove bolt (N) and washer (P). Secure hose (8) to the hose mounting bracket, using one clip (36), one clip (37), and bolt (N) and washer (P) .

Install five 6U-0456 Strap removed in Step 17. Using two cable straps (7) secure hose assembly (8) and hose assembly (11) to the existing hoses as shown in Illustration 26.

On the left-hand side of the boom, hand tighten the 397-1924 Permanent Coupling As of hose assembly (16) to union assembly (29) on bracket (20). Hand tighten the 432-2014 Coupling As of hose assembly (16) to connector assembly (28), on bracket (6) .
