Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the water cannon.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Mark parts as needed to aid in assembly. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes. This action helps to prevent fluid loss and helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure is started, clean the exterior of the components to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism. Precision components can be damaged by contaminants or by dirt. Perform disassembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.

Note: Use a suitable lifting device to move water cannon (1). The water cannon weighs approximately 26.7 kg (58.9 lb).
Remove four bolts (2) from the non-rotating side of gear box housing (1) .Note: The disassemble and assemble procedure for the UP/DOWN gear box housing and the RIGHT/LEFT gear box housing are identical.Note: The rotating base tube is connected to the UP/DOWN gear box housing. The rotating nozzle tube is connected to the RIGHT/LEFT gear box housing. The two gear box housings are connected with a non-rotating tube (3) .
