Attach suitable lifting device to upper jaw (1). Apply a sufficient amount of tension to upper jaw (1) to aid in the removal of the pin.

Remove bolts (3). Use Tooling (C) to remove nut (2). Remove nut (2).

Position suitable cribbing to support pin (4) during removal.
Using suitable tooling to remove pin (4). Refer to Table 2 for the approximate weight of pin (4). Remove upper jaw (1). Refer to Table 3 for the approximate weight of upper jaw (1). Remove shims (5).
