Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Install the vent valve by using Tooling in different types.

Use Tooling (C) and (D) to install vent valve (8), if the vent valve driven from the top down.

Use Tooling (D) and (E) to install vent valve (8), if the vent valve driven from the bottom up.

Use Tooling (B) to install the seals.

Ensure that the lip of the seal is inside the housing.
If the water temperature regulator is installed incorrectly, it will cause the engine to overheat.

Install seals (6). Install gasket (5) and water temperature regulators (7).

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to position water temperature regulator housing (4) on the engine. Install bolts (3).

Connect tube assemblies (2) to the water temperature regulator housing.

Connect tube assembly (1) to the water temperature regulator housing.
Fill the cooling with coolant to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
