A 185-3630 Strap Wrench As 1 Start By:
Remove the engine oil cooler.
Drain the engine oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedure.

Disconnect hose assemblies (4).
Remove bolts (1) and (3). Remove engine oil filter base (2).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove plug (8). Remove O-ring seal (7) from plug (8).
Remove spring (6) and valve (5).

Use Tooling (A) to remove oil filter (13). Disconnect hose assemblies (9) and (10).
Remove bolts (11) and engine oil filter base (12).

Remove plug (16) and spring (15). Remove valve (14) and the O-ring seal. Installation Procedure
Install engine oil filter base (2) and (12) in the reverse order of removal.
