4 24 356-5212 Bolt Use the following procedure to tighten the bolts for the rocker arm:
Before assembly, lubricate the threads and shaft to bolt interface with clean engine oil.
1. Tighten the bolts in 2, 3, 1, 4 sequence to 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).
2. Retighten the bolts in 2, 3, 1, 4 sequence to 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).
3. Again, tighten the bolts in 2, 3, 1, 4 sequence to an additional angle of 60 5 degrees.
