Remove Aftercooler Core
START BY:a) remove instrument panel1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. 2. Remove bolts (2) and make a separation of elbow (1) from the aftercooler. 3. Remove bolts (4), aftercooler cover (3) and the gasket from the aftercooler housing. 4. Remove the bolts, elbow assembly (7), flanges (5) and (6) and the gaskets from the rear aftercooler housing. 5. Remove tube (8) from the expansion tank and elbow (9).6. Remove the bolts, elbow (9), flanges (10) and (11) and the gaskets from the front aftercooler housing. 7. Remove aftercooler core (12) from the aftercooler housing. 8. Remove seals (13) and (14) from both ends of the aftercooler core.Install Aftercooler Core
1. Inspect all seals for wear or damage and make a replacement if necessary.2. Make sure all gasket surfaces are clean and free of dirt. 3. Put clean engine oil or glycerine on seals (1) and (2) and install them on both sides of the aftercooler core. 4. Install aftercooler core (3) in the aftercooler housing. 5. Install gasket (4) and flange (5) on the front of the aftercooler housing. 6. Install flange (6) on flange (5). 7. Install the gasket and elbow on the flange.8. Install tube (7) on the expansion tank and elbow (8). 9. Install gasket (10) and flange (9) on the rear of the aftercooler housing. 10. Install flange (9) on flange (11). 11. Install gasket (12) and elbow assembly (13) on the flange. 12. Install aftercooler cover (14) and the gasket on the aftercooler housing. 13. Install the gasket and connect elbow (15) to the aftercooler.14. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. See MAINTENANCE GUIDE.END BY:a) install instrument panel
