A 1U-7234 Feeler Gauge 1 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install seals (15) in body (11). Lubricate seals (15) with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Install seal (14) on rotor (12). Lubricate seals (14) with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Install seal (13) on rotor (12). Lubricate seals (13) with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Use a suitable press in order to install rotor (12) in body (11).

Install seals (4) and (5) into swivel assembly (7). Lubricate seals (4) and (5) with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Install retainer (3) and install bolt (2).
Use Tooling (A) in order to measure Area (X). Area (X) is the clearance between rotor (12) and body (11). The measurement must be 0.13 to 0.50 mm (0.005 to 0.020 inch). Note: Remove bolts (2) and retainer (3). Use shims (6) in order to obtain the correct clearance.

Install O-ring seals (10) in cover (9). Lubricate O-ring seals (10) with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Install cover (9) and bolts (8) to swivel assembly (7).

Install fittings (1). End By:
Install the swivel. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Swivel - Install".
