Removal Procedure

Remove the cover from the front of the console. Remove screws (1) .

Remove screws (2) from the rear of the console.

Open armrest (3). Remove screws (4). Remove armrest (3) .

Reposition cover (6) in order to access the harness assembly on the right hand console. Disconnect harness assembly (5) .
Remove cover (6) from the console.

Disconnect harness assembly (7) from the joystick.

Lift rubber boot (8) over handle (9) .Note: Mark the location of locknut (10) and the handle for installation procedures.
Hold nut (11). Loosen locknut (10). Unscrew handle (9) in order to remove the handle.
Remove rubber boot (8) from the handle.Installation Procedure

Install rubber boot (8) on the handle.
Install handle (9) in nut (11) to the original position. Hold nut (11). Tighten locknut (10) to a torque of 49 3 N m (36 2 lb ft).

Connect harness assembly (7) to the joystick.

Place cover (6) over the joystick, as shown.
Connect harness assembly (5) .

Install armrest (3). Install screws (4) .

Install screws (2) to the rear of the console.

Install screws (1). Install the cover over screws (1) .
