Aircraft Windshield Cleaner - Apply the cleaner to the windows with a soft cloth. Rub using moderate pressure until all dirt is removed. Allow the cleaner to dry. Wipe off with a clean soft cloth. Soap and Water - Use a clean sponge or soft cloth. Wash the windows with a mild soap or detergent and plenty of lukewarm water. Rinse the windows thoroughly. Dry the windows with a moist chamois skin or moist cellulose sponge. Stubborn Dirt and Grease - Wash the windows using a good grade of naphtha, isopropyl alcohol, or Butyl Cellosolve.
