Machine location of engine shutdown switch.
Use the engine shutdown switch when the engine start switch is in the OFF position, or the DELAYED ENGINE SHUTDOWN OVERRIDE position, and the engine will not stop. The engine shutdown switch is located in a compartment above the rear bumper on the left-hand side of the machine.
Illustration 2 g03790157Open access door (2) above the rear bumper in order to operate engine shutdown switch (1).This switch functions by shutting off the fuel supply to the engine.
Fuel System OFF - Raise the switch guard and move the toggle switch upward to the OFF position.
Fuel System ON - Move the toggle switch downward in order to activate the fuel system. The toggle switch is also moved downward automatically when the switch guard is lowered.Note: The engine shutdown switch does not deactivate the machine electrical system.Note: Do not operate the machine again until the problem has been corrected.
