Description of Change: The new turbocharger water lines provide lower turbocharger cartridge housing temperatures.Adaptable To: The new 421-6545 Turbocharger Water Lines Gp replaces the 161-4087 Turbocharger Water Lines Gp in the above engines.The new 421-6545 Turbocharger Water Lines Gp is adaptable to the above engines back to first production.Rework Procedure
The new parts required to install the 421-6545 Turbocharger Water Lines Gp are listed in Table 1.

(1) 3B-1915 Bolt (2) 5M-2894 Hard Washer (3) 107-0744 Block (4) 252-5658 Hose As (5) 118-4728 Elbow Note: Steps 1 through 3 are performed for both the left and right turbochargers.
Remove hose (4) and elbow (5) from blocks (3) .
Remove block (3) from the turbochargers. Set aside blocks and associated hard for reuse.
Remove and throw away the 341-9211 Gaskets .

Remove hoses (4) from tee (6) .

(7) 1L-5081 Spacer (8) 2A-4639 Bolt (9) 5M-2894 Hard Washer (10) 7N-7878 Cover Plate Note: Steps 5 through 9 are performed for both the left and right turbochargers.
Remove cover plate (10) from the turbochargers. Set aside cover plates and associated hard for reuse.
Remove and throw away the 341-9211 Gaskets .

Install one cover plate (10) per turbocharger use one gasket (11), two spacers (7), two bolts (8), and two washers (9) .Tighten cover plate bolts ... 47 9 N m (35 7lb ft)

Install one connector (12) and one O-ring (13) per block (3) .Tighten connector ... 80 12 N m (59 9 lb ft)
