BUSHING ASSEM 1F6211 - Caterpillar

1. Disconnect two wires (3) from back-up alarm (2). Remove two nuts (1) and bolts and remove the back-up alarm from the tractor. On direct drive models remove shift lever boot (5) and boot retainer (7).2. Remove six bolts (4), washers and lockwashers. Remove floor plates (6). Steps 3 and 4 are for direct drive models only. 3. Remove bolt (9) which fastens actuator assembly (8) to the forward-reverse shift linkage. 4. Disconnect two wires (11) from switch assembly (10). Remove two nuts and lockwashers which fasten the switch assembly to the transmission. Remove the switch assembly. Steps 5 and 6 are for power shift models only. The cab is tilted back and the steering clutch linkage rods and brake linkage rods are removed for photo purposes only. 5. Disconnect two wires (13) from switch assembly (12). Remove two bolts and lockwashers which fasten the switch assembly to the transmission. Remove the switch assembly. 6. Remove two bolts which fasten actuator assembly (14) to the forward-reverse shift linkage.Install Back-Up Warning Alarm And Switch
Steps 1 and 2 are for power shift models only. The cab is tilted back and the steering clutch linkage rods and brake linkage rods are removed for photo purposes only. 1. Fasten the actuator assembly (1) to the forward-reverse shift linkage with two bolts. 2. Install the switch assembly (2) on the transmission case with two bolts and lockwashers. Connect two wires to the switch assembly. Steps 3 and 4 are for direct drive models only. 3. Install switch assembly (3) with two nuts and lockwashers. Connect two wires (4) to the switch assembly. 4. Install actuator assembly (5) on the forward-reverse shift linkage with bolt. 5. Install floor plate (8) with six bolts (6), washers and lockwashers. Step 6 is for direct drive models only.6. Install shift lever boot (7) and boot retainer (9) with eight bolts and washers. 7. Install back-up alarm (10) on tractor with two bolts and nuts. Connect two wires (11) to the back-up alarm.
