This Special Instruction outlines the basic procedures in order to install the 178-0060 Engine Speed Control Conversion Ar. The 178-0060 Engine Speed Control Conversion Ar system allows the operator to maintain the engine rpm at a desired setting. The Engine Speed Control is used with attachments that require a constant rpm setting for a prolonged period of time. The 178-0060 Engine Speed Control Conversion Ar is available from the Leicester facility. The Special Instruction provides the serviceable parts of the conversion arrangement.The Engine Speed Control should be installed in conjunction with the 107-4842 Speed Control Ar. The operator can independently set the engine rpm at a desired setting and the operator can maintain a constant ground speed simultaneously.The Special Instruction is available through the normal literature distribution system.
