Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Type 1

Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seals. Install the O-ring seals on the inlet manifolds.
Position air shutoff housings (2) on the inlet manifolds.
Connect the harness assemblies.
Connect clamp assemblies (3) to air shutoff housings (2). Tighten the clamp assemblies to a torque of 12 4 N m (106 35 lb in).
Install elbows (1) on air shutoff housings (2). Type 2

Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seal. Install the O-ring seal on the air inlet elbow.
Position air shutoff housing (5) on the air inlet elbow.
Connect the harness assemblies.
Connect clamp assembly (6) to air shutoff housing (5). Tighten the clamp assembly to a torque of 12 4 N m (106 35 lb in).
Install elbow (4) on air shutoff housing (5).
